Former Deputy Gov. Christian Mitchell will be Gov. JB Pritzker’s running mate as he seeks a third term, the campaign announced Tuesday. 

Gov. JB Pritzker on Monday signed bills to expand dual credit partnerships between public schools and Illinois community colleges, assist students applying for student financial aid and directly admit qualified Illinois students into public universities.  

As the Trump administration looks to roll back Biden-era environmental protection policies, the state of Illinois is moving forward with next steps to reach its climate goals.
