Mayor Brandon Johnson and Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias each face two challenges to their nominating petitions, among 14 objections filed against mayoral candidates seeking to get on the Feb. 23, 2027 ballot, according to a list released Wednesday by the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners.
