    The City Council’s finance committee on Tuesday will gather to hear subject matter on the city’s recent credit ratings downgrades and negative financial outlook. 

    The Committee on Finance will meet at 10 a.m. in council chambers.

    The City Council finance committee on Monday will consider a fee waiver for an infrastructure project and multiple legal settlements, including a previously rejected settlement and a settlement to the company that owns the city’s parking meters. The Committee on Finance will meet at 10 a.m. in council chambers.

    The City Council Committee on Finance on Monday approved numerous wrongful settlements stemming from police conduct, including vehicle pursuits and a case of excessive force during 2020 racial justice protests. Additionally, the committee approved financial assistance for the city’s first affordable housing development that will specifically cater to Indigenous Americans.
