The City Council Committee on Finance will meet Monday and consider approving tens of millions of dollars to settle police-related lawsuits and the disbursement of tax-increment financing (TIF) funds for various citywide projects.
The finance committee is slated to meet in council chambers at City Hall at 10 a.m.

The City Council Committee on Finance will convene for two meetings Monday morning on the designation of more than a dozen financial institutions as municipal depositories and the approval of legal settlements.
The finance committee proceedings are set to kick off at 10 a.m. in City Council chambers with a subject matter hearing on the issue before moving into a regular meeting.

The City Council Committee on Finance on Monday recommended the City Council approve the payment of millions of dollars to settle three lawsuits — most of the money recommended to be paid out would settle lawsuits related to police shootings.
Additionally, the city ethics committee approved new rules regulating registered lobbyists.

The City Council Committee on Finance is set to meet at 10 a.m. Monday to vote on various proposals including the creation of a new subcommittee and three ordinances that would grant a combined $15.4 million in tax-increment finance (TIF) dollars to various developments
