The City Council Committee on Finance on Tuesday approved tens of millions of dollars in public assistance for a development being built on what was once part of the Lincoln Yards proposal but delayed a key vote on the city's infamous parking meter deal until later this week.

The City Council Committee on Zoning, Landmarks and Building Standards on Tuesday approved the expansion of a Lincoln Park college prep school, the redevelopment of the former Ford City Mall and a new Amazon warehouse in Gage Park, as well as a proposed designation of a Far North Side street as a historic landmark.

The City Council zoning committee on Tuesday will consider proposed rezonings to accommodate the redevelopment of the former Ford City Mall and a new Amazon warehouse in Gage Park, as well as a proposed designation of a Far North Side street as a historic landmark.

The Committee on Zoning, Landmarks and Building Standards will meet at 10 a.m. in council chambers.
