Ald. Maria Hadden (49) posted "Last Wednesday, the City Council approved an ordinance creating a Mental Health System Working Group to address how Chicago supports people with mental health issues, bringing the city closer to implementing Treatment Not Trauma."
Ald. Rossana Rodriguez-Sanchez (33) posted in response to a landlord charged with stabbing Muslim tenants in Plainfield, killing one: "The constant dehumanizing & vilifying of Palestinians as they try to survive genocide is so dangerous and has consequences. I am devastated to learn about this hateful attack that took the life of a baby so close us."
Ald. Carlos Ramirez-Rosa (35) posted "Islamophobia on the rise. MSNBC removes 3 Muslim anchors. Rhetoric justifying killing of Palestinian civilians repeated by US officials & network news. Now, in IL, a 6 year-old boy was stabbed 26 times while his attacker yelled 'you Muslims must die!'"
Ald. Andre Vasquez (40) posted "President Carter may call it “Optimizing”, but a cut is a cut and CTA has absolutely made cuts to service. Our city deserves transparency, accountability and Chicago deserves better."
