Ward Reports November 16, 2023

Ald. Bill Conway (34) posted "Public safety is my top priority. What was once a peaceful homeless encampment has become a magnet for drug dealing & violent crime, including 2 recent shootings. Addressing crime shouldn't be conditional. I will never bargain with our community's safety."

Ald. Brendan Reilly (42) posted "The response out of the Mayor’s Office is totally ridiculous & clearly an admission they denied public services to a community after their alderman properly rebuffed their totally unethical (and likely illegal) quid pro quo. Amateur hour on the 5th Floor."

Ald. Lamont Robinson (4) said on Facebook "Today, we successfully passed the “People’s Budget,” channeling investments into reparations, youth employment/programming, mental health and accelerating the lead service replacement program. It was great to have Pastor Whitehead from Mount Carmel Bible Church, a church in the 4th Ward, to lead today’s invocation before council began🙏🏾"
