Ward Reports August 15, 2023
Ald. Brian Hopkins (2) tweeted "COVID testing, tracing, and precautions have been discarded, yet every infection puts a person at risk of developing long COVID – which, according to the data, is increasingly likely among the less vaccinated and the more times you've contracted the virus."
Ald. Matt O'Shea (19) tweeted "This Saturday, August 19th, please join me at 115 Bourbon Street (3359 W 115th St) to support our friend and neighbor Danny DeHoyos and his family. @BevRevNews @CWC_nfp @CookSheriffIL @BeverlyMtGPatch"
Ald. Julia Ramirez (12) tweeted "1 Week til School Starts!! Eek! Good luck to all our parents and our amazing schools as we get ready for this upcoming school year. Thinking a lot about School Safety Zones!"
Ald. Maria Hadden (49) said on Facebook "GrubHub, in partnership with the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce, awarded Asian Station (1343 W. Morse) with a grant for LGBTQ+ restaurateurs this week. Ten small businesses in Chicago, and nearby suburbs, are the recipients of small business grants ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 through the NGLCC Community Impact Grant Program. This is a huge celebration for a local small business, and we are so lucky to have Asian Station in Rogers Park!"
