Ald. George Cardenas (12) tweeted “Latinos are now the majority minority”

Ald. Raymond Lopez (15) in a thread tweeted “If [Chicago Public Schools] doesn’t return to 100% in-class instruction or fails to maintain consistent daily participation remotely in 2021-22, taxpayers should get a refund! Last year Covid reduced student enrollment by 4% yet the district increased property tax levy 2.3%. No repeats!”

Ald. Matt O’Shea (19) tweeted “Thanks to all who came out last night to support the Chicago Police Department.”

Ald. Carlos Ramirez-Rosa (35) tweeted “There's a lot to see and experience in Chicago that helps us contemplate the 500 year anniversary of the Fall of Tenochtitlan, Tenochtitlan's enduring legacy, and how people of Indigenous descent continue to resist the ongoing project of colonization.”

Ald. Gilbert Villegas (36) tweeted “If you want to get common sense leadership in Georgia, let’s help [Wendy Davis] get to Congress. [Ana Navarro-Cárdenas] let’s help get the word out that there is a viable candidate against Congresswoman Taylor.”

Ald. Tom Tunney (44) in his latest newsletter wrote he was “shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Officer Ella French and the grievous injuries to her partner.  I pray for her, her partner and their families, friends and police family. Officer French was an exceptional young officer whose death is inexplicable.”

Ald. Matt Martin (47) in a thread tweeted “If parents don't have access to affordable child care, they can't get back to work. That's one reason why I introduced legislation to provide Chicago families with emergency child care assistance this year.

Ald. Maria Hadden (49) tweeted “We don't need to wait to see the data when we can see where it's headed. A mask mandate would really take some stress off our businesses and organizations looking for guidance. We need people to trust us.”
