Next year’s budget for the Department of Streets and Sanitation (DSS) is proposed to grow from $311.5 million to $344.7 million — a 10.6 percent increase.

DSS, the Chicago Department of Aviation and the Department of Procurement Services will defend their proposed 2024 budgets on Friday.
