Illinois residents can now use Apple Wallet to store their driver’s licenses and state IDs on their phones.
More than a year after the bill first passed, Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias announced Tuesday that Illinois residents could begin uploading their driver’s licenses and state IDs to Apple Wallet Nov. 19, with plans to add Samsung and Google Wallets in the coming months.
