The Illinois General Assembly gathered back in Springfield on Tuesday, Aug. 31 to update their legislative maps for the next decade, despite calls from some advocates to slow down the process. And an immense energy bill is down to the wire again, as Gov. JB Pritzker calls to hit the brakes on a new compromise proposal.
