Gov. Bruce Rauner on Friday signed HB4278, law that will mandate faster reporting of any disease outbreaks at Illinois veterans facilities, in response to the deaths and illnesses caused by Legionnaires’ outbreaks at the Quincy veterans home during the previous three years.
