    Pritzker defends cannabis license system as critics raise questions over inclusion of minority-owned businesses

    Gov. JB Pritzker reiterated his support on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020 for the state’s cannabis licensing process despite facing criticism in recent days.


    Days after state officials announced 21 finalists eligible to receive a cannabis dispensary license during a long-delayed lottery, critics are calling for changes, blasting the selection process and asking the governor to delay further action.
