    Gov. JB Pritzker expressed an openness to special sessions for the Chicago Bears and education funding this year, Treasurer Michael Frerichs announced a new investment program aimed at building more affordable housing and Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias announced $27 million in grants for Illinois libraries.
