    New electric vehicle manufacturer opens in Joliet as Pritzker continues pitch to EV companies home and abroad to consider Illinois

    Lion Electric opened a new manufacturing facility in Joliet on Friday two years after Gov. JB Pritzker pitched state tax credits to attract the Canadian manufacturing company to Illinois. The opening comes a day after Pritzker returned from pitching businesses overseas.
