Chance The Rapper brought a huge crowd to City Hall Tuesday, where he endorsed Amara Enyia for mayor — and promised to turn out the “largest ever” youth vote in February’s municipal election. Chicago Treasurer Kurt Summers announced he will not be a candidate in that election after launching a committee to explore a mayoral run. Ald. Pat O’Connor (40) is still weighing a run for another term representing his North Side ward.
“I’d like to say very narcissistically, if I back you, you have a chance — absolutely,” Chance The Rapper said Tuesday at City Hall. [Heather Cherone/The Daily Line]
