Mallory Vor Broker covers state and local politics for WLS-AM 890. Prior to joining the news team, she was an executive producer for ten years for some of the top-rated talent in Chicago. She also served as the senior executive producer for election night coverage for more than eight years.

As an EP, Vor Broker has a history of securing interviews with top legislators including senators, congressmen, governors, and mayors. She started her career at WBBM Newsradio, worked as a traffic reporter and producer for WGN-TV, WBEZ and NBC 5. She graduated from Ohio University with a B.A. in creative writing and has a master’s degree in journalism from Roosevelt University. She lives in Logan Square, enjoys reading and lecturing partygoers on why they should care about local politics.
