Voters in House District 48 will have a sense of déjà vu as they decide who they want to represent them, with one-term incumbent Rep. Terra Costa Howard (D-Glen Ellyn) squaring off against former two-term Republican Peter Breen. The two previously faced each other in 2018, when Costa Howard defeated Breen by 3,500 votes, with roughly 50,100 total ballots cast.
