A Cook County committee unanimously approved a resolution Wednesday that calls for the county to promote healthy eating and implement programs to improve residents’ nutrition. But some commissioners also indicated their desires for the county to go further in improving access to healthy food in a number of ways, including partnerships with other local governments and organizations.
