The Cloutfiles
The CloutFiles are The Daily Line's definitive guide to the people and institutions that make Chicago government run. Building upon the former Cloutwiki, we've spent months working behind the scenes to update, catalogue and expand these dense, information-rich profiles with important background on the movers and shakers in Chicago and Illinois politics. Today’s launch includes extensive profiles of all 50 Chicago aldermen, plus all 19 City Council committees. In the coming weeks and months, we'll expand this repository to include city agencies and executive officials, as well as elected leaders and institutions at the Illinois and Cook County level.
