Chicago mayoral candidate Gery Chico joined a growing group of aldermen calling for an end to the compact creating the Chicago-Gary Airport Authority over the airport’s deportation of undocumented immigrants “on a near weekly basis,” but the mayor of Gary described the move as “political posturing.”
