    Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle’s picks to serve on the Northern Illinois Transit Authority (NITA) board and the three revamped service boards overseeing Pace, Metra and the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) were approved by the city and county’s respective bodies last week ahead of a Sept. 1 deadline.
