    The City Council zoning committee on Tuesday will consider a sweeping update of the city’s construction and building codes and myriad rezonings to allow a mixed-use development in McKinley Park, an apartment and townhome development in Avondale and two mixed-use buildings in West Town. 

    The Committee on Zoning, Landmarks and Building Standards will meet at 10 a.m. in council chambers.
