The City Council Committee on Workforce Development on Monday will consider a resolution to support the Paul Simon Jobs Corps Center, as the technical school faces closure as part of a broader shutdown by the Trump administration, and to urge continued funding for the federal program, which is over 60 years old and operates across the country. 

The committee is slated to meet at 10 a.m. in council chambers.
