The City Council Committee on Transportation and Public Way on Wednesday will consider a measure that would rename a park space in the Lincoln Park neighborhood after a noted, recently deceased community member, and it will consider a new port district board appointment.

The transportation committee will meet at 10:30 a.m. in Room 201A at City Hall.
