    On the heels of Chicago approving hundreds of millions of dollars in tax increment financing (TIF) assistance for the mixed-use development in the South Loop that will be anchored by a new Chicago Fire soccer stadium, the Johnson administration is proposing more than $200 million in TIF assistance for the development now moving forward on part of the site once envisioned as Lincoln Yards.
