    License committee to hold hearing on Bally’s construction pause, consider measure calling for BACP to centralize license and permit applications

    The City Council Committee on License and Consumer Protection on Wednesday will hold a hearing on the decision by Bally’s to pause construction on some of its downtown casino complex over its objection to the city’s legalization of video gambling.

    The license committee will meet at 1 p.m. in council chambers.
