    Council approves prediction market provision of ethics code, new CDPH commissioner, policies to streamline affordable housing developments using city funds

    The City Council on Wednesday approved legislation meant to reduce administrative hurdles that slow affordable housing developments, a new head of the city’s public health department and a measure banning city employees and officials from using non-public info to gain an edge in prediction markets.
