On Tuesday, the Metropolitan Planning Council (MPC) Board of Governors announced the selection of Dan Lurie as MPC president and CEO. Lurie, who founded the Municipal Governance Initiative and previously served as chief of policy under former Mayor Lori Lightfoot, will begin his tenure Sept. 30.
