The Chicago branch of the Council on American-Islamic Relations on Friday publicly called on the Chicago Police Department to investigate "hate crimes and violence against Palestinian supporters and peaceful protestors." The call comes after a series of incidents, the latest of which was the vandalism of a business in Uptown that had displayed a Palestinian flag.
