The Cook County Treasurer’s Office announced that second installment property tax bills were available online to be viewed and paid on Tuesday ahead of them being mailed to residents by Nov. 1. They will be due Dec. 1. Though they are still arriving later than usual, the arrival of the bills was earlier than last year. “I encourage people to pay online, which is the quickest and most convenient way to pay,” County Treasurer Maria Pappas said. “If property owners are unable to pay the full amount at once, they can make a partial payment, or several, until they have paid in full.” The bills can be viewed and paid at cookcountytreasurer.com.
