The Chicago Alliance Against Racial and Political Repression is planning a mass demonstration in downtown Chicago in January to protest President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration, the group announced over the weekend. "A Trump presidency means we need to unite now to fight back against attacks on immigrants, Black liberation, Palestine, women & LGBTQ people!" the group said in its announcement. The coalition, which includes multiple progressive and left-wing groups, will hold a demonstration on Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. in Federal Plaza.
