Chicago Announcements November 22, 2022

As of 5 p.m. Monday, a total 173 candidates had filed petitions to get on the Feb. 28 municipal election ballot, according to the Chicago Board of Elections. Monday marked the first day candidates running for mayor, city clerk, city treasurer and police district councils could turn in their petition signatures. The final day to file petitions is Nov. 28.
