Mayor Brandon Johnson announced the creation of a new Downtown Economic Growth Advisory Committee on Thursday. The committee will include 40 area professionals and meet quarterly, collaborating with other downtown advocates to promote mixed-use developments in the downtown area and to help implement the vision laid out in the updated Central Area Plan being finalized this year.
