The CTA saw its highest weekly ridership in three years between June 4 and June 10, the transit agency announced Tuesday. The spike in ridership was "bolstered" by the Taylor Swift concerts, neighborhood festivals, other concerts and warmer weather, according to a CTA news release. The 5.63 million rides CTA provided that first full week of June marked the highest number of rides CTA provided since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
