The Cook County Board of Commissioners approved the five-year update to the Cook County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan at its Thursday meeting. The update includes annexes from 125 jurisdictions such as suburban municipalities, Chicago and the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, according to a news release.
