The Chicago Treasurer's Office announced Thursday the launch of the Money Matters Institute (MMI), a program that will empower residents "with crucial financial education and valuable resources," according to a news release. "This innovative initiative provides residents with the knowledge and tools they need to achieve financial stability and success, no matter their starting point," the office said.
