The City Council Committee on Budget and Government Operations on Friday approved a $61,000 grant for the Chicago Police Department made by the Illinois Department of Transportation for the Impaired Driving Prevention Training program. Acceptance of the grant was approved unanimously and the measure will be considered during Wednesday’s City Council meeting.
