The Chicago Department of Transportation on Wednesday announced a new annual record of 10 million trips were taken on shared bikes and e-scooters in 2024.

Cubs Charities announced Lea Jesse as its new executive director on Thursday. Jesse is the former CEO of First Tee-Greater Chicago and also previously worked in leadership roles at Big Shoulders Fund and J.P. Morgan Private Bank, according to a news release from Cubs Charities.
