Chicago Announcements February 20, 2024

Early voting will resume Wednesday, at 9 a.m. at the Chicago Board of Elections Supersite at 191 N. Clark St. and at the Board Offices at 69 W. Washington St., sixth floor, following a pause that began Friday, the Chicago Board of Elections announced. After the Appellate Court of Illinois lifted a stay of enforcement on Feb. 16 that allowed the removal of Ashonta C. Rice, a candidate for Cook County Circuit Court judge, from the Democratic Party ballot, the board needed time to "reprogram and proof the ballots for all Early Voting touchscreen machines to reflect this change."
