Chicago Announcements December 22, 2021

The Chicago Department of Public Health added Alabama, Florida, Hawaii, Mississippi, Texas and Puerto Rico to the city’s COVID-19 Travel Advisory, bringing the list of states to 47 states and two territories. Because those states have recorded average daily new caseloads of at least 15 per 100,000 residents, unvaccinated travelers are asked to get tested or quarantine upon arrival in Chicago. The addition means only Guam, Louisiana, South Carolina, and the Virgin Islands remain off the list.
