Mayor Lori Lightfoot and the city’s Department of Streets and Sanitation on Friday announced the city’s first "You Name a Snowplow" Contest. The city is encouraging residents to submit names for snowplows to www.chicagoshovels.org by Jan. 6. City officials will select the top six names which will represent a snowplow in each of Chicago’s snow districts.
