The first-ever Chi Food Truck Fest Taco Throwdown will be held from 10-10:30 a.m. Friday at Daley Plaza, 50 W. Washington St. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite food truck's tacos and will "play a critical role in supporting the local entrepreneurs who make up an important part of our city’s culinary community," according to a news release from the city's Department of Business Affairs and Consumer protection.
