Applications for mail-in ballots for the Nov. 5 General Election opened for suburban Cook County voters on Wednesday. Applications are available through the Cook County Clerk’s Office website, the office announced. The website also has printable applications that voters may fill out and mail to the clerk's office to receive a ballot. Ballots will be mailed out in September. The deadline to apply for a mail ballot is Oct. 31.
