The Government Alliance for Safe Communities will host a webinar on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 10:30 a.m. to celebrate its third anniversary. The webinar will focus on capacity building, grant funding and performance metrics and feature Cook County Office of the President Chief of Staff Lanetta Haynes Turner, Whitney Key Towey and Juandalynn Johnson from the Justice Advisory Council, Institute 2 Innovate Program Director Webster Vital, Target Area Development External Executive Director Joshua Oakley and Marlita White, director of the Chicago Department of Public Health’s Office of Violence Prevention and Behavioral Health.
