Chicago Announcements August 23, 2023

The National Weather Service Chicago has issued an excessive heat warning for Chicago through Thursday as heat indices are expected to soar to between 110 and 115 degrees. City officials are encouraging residents to check on elderly and disabled friends, family and neighbors and stay out of the heat by getting to one of the city's cooling centers. Additional information on cooling centers and their locations is available online.
