Chicago Announcements August 13, 2021

The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce in a news release this week called on businesses to require that all employees be vaccinated before they return to their worksites, and also put in place “stringent” masking and testing protocols if vaccine mandates are not possible. “The surge of Covid-19 infections, coupled with the plateauing of vaccination rates, has a grim outlook if we don’t make these challenging, but tough decisions,” Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Jack Lavin wrote in the news release. “Together, we can implement policies that protect our employees and employees everywhere and curb the direction of the pandemic and move our economy forward.”
