The Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability will hold its monthly public meeting on Aug. 14. The meeting will include a special public hearing on the establishment of an Office of Gun Violence Reduction proposed by Live Free Illinois. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the DuSable Black History Museum, 740 E. 56th Pl. in Chicago.
