The Department of Central Management Services has received notice from Governor JB Pritzker that all persons or entities covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act are to fly the flags at half-staff until sunset on April 29, 2024 in honor and remembrance of  Chicago Police Officer Luis Huesca, 30, who died in the line of duty on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

The Chicago Housing Authority is announcing the launch of “Cabrini Now,” a community-driven planning and design process promoting new mixed-income housing and economic development in the neighborhood. Cabrini Now builds on previous planning efforts carry out the community’s vision for the neighborhood and address affordable housing needs.
